Since September 2016, Ground Up Digital (previously RoR Digital) have had the pleasure of working with fly fishing company The Essential Fly.
They are a family-run company who really care about their customers. They spend huge amounts of time ensuring that everything is perfect, from the products they sell, to leaving little surprises in a customer’s orders, you know, just because they wanted to reward their customers for being a customer.
The Essential Fly approached us to request our support monetizing their Facebook efforts. They had done a fantastic job of growing a huge online community around the brand and were very aware of the benefits they were receiving from this but wanted support taking it to the next level.
Between September 2016 and March 2019, Ground Up Digital was able to generate a 724% Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) from a series of conversion-based ads, using the engagement work they did with their community to retarget specific groups and create a conversion funnel.
On top of this, we’ve been asked to undertake multiple other Facebook advertising projects, including:
- Promotion of Fly-Fishing Events run by TEF
- Membership Campaigns
- Product Catalogue Promotion
- Video View Campaigns
- Photography Competitions
- Customer Service Campaigns
All of these additional projects had focuses beyond simply generating profit and so have been excluded from the above ROAS figure. However, even if these are included in the budget we’ve still managed to generate a 675% ROAS.
